Week 1: Arriving in Joburgh

As I was coming over into Africa there was some good scenery.
My first sight  of the African Coast.

On the second day I slept until 11:30 a.m. I was jet lagged because of the seven hour difference.

Hadida, a type of Ibis
On the third day we went out to eat at an Indian place, they have these giant things called dosas and they were good. Then we went for a walk and saw some birds along the river.

Today is New Years Eve, and I wish You all a great 2017.

  2. Merry Christmas, Elias! I am really looking forward to reading your travel blog and learning about all your adventures during the next few weeks. I'm still up in Durham. It's drizzly and cold, but no snow!
